We now understand that contactless transactions have a better chance of going through. We’d encourage affected customers to try contactless transactions where possible.
We have heard that the VISA situation has improved and transactions are starting to go through. There is still some intermittency which may take a while as VISA will be working through a backlog of transactions.
There is currently a disruption of service in taking payments from VISA. It is affecting all payment providers across the UK and Ireland.
We are in touch with VISA to help provide a fix to this, and we’ll issue an update via our social channels and email as soon as we have one.
