HOW TO PERFORM A MAC RESET ON YOUR CONNECT INGENICO TERMINAL
You need to perform all of the steps below in order to reset each of your terminals.

STEP 1
On each terminal, press the MENU button twice and select F3 for SUPERVISOR

STEP 2
Enter the password (normally 123456) and press ENTER. Then select F2 for PASSWORD and F2 again for MAC RESET

STEP 3
The terminal will now ask which acquirer you want to perform a MAC reset for. You can toggle between them if you select SINGLE.

(The terminal will show “FDMS” instead of “Cardnet MS” as shown below.)

STEP 4
Once you select the acquirer, the terminal will print out a report showing that the MAC has been reset. If you then perform a logon test, check to see that PASS is written next to the relevant acquirer like in the example below.

STEP 5

To perform the log on test press the menu button twice, then select F3 (which takes you to the Supervisor function).

Enter your password and press enter (default passwords are 123456 and 01483)

Press F4 for Logon and then press F1 for all acquirers

This will print a receipt, at the bottom of the receipt is should say “FDMS PASS”
