After being ranked on the 2016 Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, Paymentsense has gone on to win the Outstanding Achievement Award. The awards ceremony, which was held on Tuesday 15 November at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, aims to celebrate the UK’s fastest-growing technology, media and telecoms companies.

Of the 100 companies listed in this year, Paymentsense was just one of seven award-winning businesses on the night. The award was sponsored by BGF and presented by its CEO Stephen Welton to Paymentsense founders George Karibian and Jan Farrarons.

Paymentsense follows its win of the prestigious UKTI Growth Business of the Year Award 2015 by being shortlisted for the Digital Business of the Year Award at this year’s Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. Paymentsense has also been listed on the Tech Track 100 for 2016, 2015, and 2013, where the company was ranked just seventh from all of Britain’s fastest-growing businesses.

Jed Rose, Chief Executive Officer commented, “We are honoured to have won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2016 Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track Awards. Our teams continue to focus on providing exceptional card payment services for UK and European SMEs. Our progress is clearly demonstrated by the growing number of businesses that choose Paymentsense every day for their merchant services.”

Graham Budd, CEO of ARM and guest speaker on the night, said, “I think Tech Track 100 is a fantastic way to showcase the value that dynamic unlisted companies are creating in the UK. It also shines a spotlight on this amazing innovation that’s happening here; entrepreneurs, innovators, like all of us in this room, create new ways of using technology to inspire and improve people’s lives.”
