What’s chip and PIN?

Last year, card finally conquered cash – 65% of these card purchases were made with chip and PIN technology. Why miss out on all those extra sales? A chip and PIN machine just makes sense.

So how does it work? Customers pop their card into the chip and PIN machine and then enter a four-digit PIN. The chip stores the card holder’s data. If the PIN matches the numbers stored on the chip, the transaction goes through for approval. Take that, cash.

How quick can you get a Chip and PIN machine? Try just five days. It works straight out of the box, so you’ll be getting paid in no time. You’ll be able to take all major credit and debit cards including Visa and Mastercard as well as contactless, Apple Pay and Android Pay. You get it all.
